NZ construction costs fall for the first time in more than a decade

Jul 2024 - New Zealand's residential construction industry experienced its first recorded drop in the cost to build a new house in at least 12 years, with the latest Cordell Construction Cost Index (CCCI) revealing a 1.1% decrease in the three months to June.
